Go Cruise & Travel agent Zoe Coope landed a £40,000 booking for a World Voyage after she and husband Martyn posted photos on social media of their fam trip on Cunard’s Queen Mary.
The business partners from Mansfield had joined 40 other Go Cruise & Travel top achievers and ‘rising stars’ on the four-day round-trip cruise from Southampton to Hamburg.
After Zoe and Martyn posted photos of the ship, a couple who had booked a Fred. Olsen cruise with the pair the previous week decided to confirm a 109-night Cunard World Voyage, departing in January 2027, as well.
“This won’t be their first world cruise, they’ve done others, but they said they’d seen the photos of our Cunard trip when they called to book this one,” said Zoe, who has been running the agency with Martyn for about 20 years.
“We sell a lot of Cunard, we know the ships really well, and that helps when you’re selling a cruises,” added Zoe. “We travel on Cunard a lot ourselves, and that knowledge makes all the difference.
“I was able to advise these clients on the best stateroom for them, and that’s really important on a world cruise.”
The Go Cruise & Travel Cunard fam trip included an immersive experience for the 40 franchisees.
Since returning, several more have secured new Cunard bookings. One agent, Jane Chadwick, said she was so impressed with her onboard experience that she switched a client to Cunard following the cancellation of another cruise.
