AE Expeditions Senior Business Development Manager Andy Tait has left to become Sales Manager at luxury operator White Desert.
White Desert is the first and only aviation and luxury camp operator in the interior of Antarctica.
Its guests fly from Cape Town to luxury camps in Queen Maud Land in Antarctica for five- to seven-day itineraries visiting the Geographic South Pole.
Andy was part of the AE Expeditions team for two and a half years. Before that, he was BDM at Inside Travel Group.
He said: “I am thrilled to be joining the team at White Desert. For 20 years they have pioneered ultra-luxury and deep-field Antarctic travel and I am looking forward to sharing more with the UK trade to build demand from our market for the South Pole, Emperor Penguins and beyond.”
AE Expeditions is currently recruiting for a BDM to replace Andy.
