ABTA made a profit of £3.4 million in the last financial year.
The figure, for the 12 months to the end of June 2024, is up from £2.1m in the previous year.
Subscriptions, which went up 8.5% in the 2023-24 financial year, brought in £6.58m.
The total wage bill was £5.9m, for 99 employees, which is up on the previous year’s figure of £5.3m for 94 employees.
Total remuneration for ABTA directors was £443,000, compared to £429,000 the previous year. ABTA’s highest-paid director, Chief Executive Mark Tanzer received £312,000, up from £303,000 the previous year.
Figures filed with Companies House show 41 head office members left and 18 joined, bringing year-end head office membership to 808, compared to 831 in 2023. Ancillary officer member numbers ended at 318.
There were no financial claims during 2023-24 and ABTA ended the financial year with net assets of £32.2m.
