Northumbria Travel, based in Bedlington, Northumberland, has ceased trading.
The company, which was set up in 1984, specialised in river and ocean cruises as well as selling long-haul holidays.
It was run by Beryl Gibson, her daughter Jane and a team of long-standing members of staff.
ABTA said the majority of travel arrangements sold by the company were retail leisure sales sold through tour operators.
