An aircraft taking tourists from a popular Kenya holiday resort to a safari park has crashed.
All 10 passengers and the pilot are confirmed dead.
The Mombasa Air Safari plane was flying from the beach resort of Diani to an airstrip in Kichwa Tembo in the Maasai Mara game park, according to the BBC.
It crashed at 5.30am local time, the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) said.
Onboard were eight Hungarian and two German tourists and a Kenyan pilot.
The plane is understood to have come down six miles from Kwale town. Local media have published images of the plane in flames, with debris scattered on the ground.
The cause of the crash has yet to be confirmed, but local reports suggest bad weather might have been to blame. It was raining and misty at the time of the accident.
