Rendez-vous Canada (RVC) 2025 – Destination Canada’s signature trade event – took place in Winnipeg, the capital of Manitoba, between May 27-30.
Winnipeg is home to the largest Indigenous population of any Canadian city and Indigenous tours are becoming an important part of Canada’s travel experiences.
Manitoba is renowned for its northern polar bear population and the town of Churchill is known as the ‘Polar Bear Capital’. Delegates who visited Winnipeg’s Assiniboine Park Zoo, home to the Leatherdale International Polar Bear Conservation Centre, were able to find out more about the animals, and get up close to some who now live at the centre after they were rescued as orphans in Churchill.
On the last day, Destination Canada unveiled a new global brand campaign ‘Canada, naturally’. Destination Canada’s research shows that Canada’s target guests are attracted to authentic, unfiltered experiences.
Here are some photos from the event.
