Vertical Systems is celebrating a rare milestone as two long-serving colleagues mark a combined 65 years of service with the travel technology specialist on the same day.
On 1 September, Lou Thorne notches up four decades with the company, while Del Comer reaches the quarter-century mark.
Lou joined Vertical Systems in its early years and has seen travel technology evolve from traditional desktop systems to today’s integrated cloud-based platforms, with four decades of dedication and knowledge benefiting colleagues and customers alike.
Del joined 15 years later and has spent the last 25 years supporting Vertical Systems’ growth and its reputation for delivering trusted technology to the UK travel industry.
Vertical Systems Chief Executive Officer and owner Peter Healey said: “To have one colleague celebrating 40 years with the business would be exceptional. To have another celebrating 25 years on exactly the same day is something truly special.
