Fred. Olsen-owned Hotel Jardin Tecina on La Gomera in the Canary Islands has benefited from a huge multi-million-pound refurbishment.
Renovation work took place between April and December 2024, with its new touches in keeping with the hotel’s Canarian character.
As part of the €20 million (£17.2 million) refurb, all the bedrooms underwent a total revamp with flooring, layout, decor, lighting, air conditioning, bathroom, doors and windows all renovated.

The main restaurant’s layout was also changed, with a new buffet station added.
The hotel’s leisure area, the Salon Bar & Beatriz de Bobadilla Terrace, was also altered to create several different spaces, including a bar, a relaxation space for younger guests and a room to watch sports.

A new children’s play area called Laurus has also been added with waterslides.
The BBQ and Pool Bar were both redecorated, with new flooring laid throughout.

Other parts of the hotel have also benefitted from the revamp, including communal pathways and internet connection.
The hotel has released rates through to April 2026, with an 18% discount on early bookings for stays between 1 November 2025 to 30 April 2026, when booked before 30 June 2025.
