AWTE Christmas lunch raises £10,000 for charity

The Association of Women Travel Executives (AWTE) held its annual Christmas lunch, raising more than £10,400 for Reuben’s Retreat.

Taking place at Church House in Westminster, the lunch brought together professionals from across the travel industry for an afternoon of festive fun, networking, fundraising, and AWTE’s annual awards. Travel Gossip also sponsored the party for the fourth year running.

Among the winners this year were Travel Gossip’s Sales Director Jessica Simpson, who was awarded the Unsung Hero Award, and Reuben’s Retreat founder Nicola Graham (pictured, above), who won the Gillyan Shebbeare Award.

AWTE Chair Michelle Laverick said: “We are incredibly proud to support Reuben’s Retreat and the extraordinary difference they make for families during their most difficult moments. Our Christmas Lunch is a celebration of community, and partnering with a charity built on compassion and care aligns perfectly with AWTE’s values.”
