Agents and operators join Jamaica Travel Market 2025

Operators and agents joined 17 Jamaican suppliers for Jamaica Travel Market earlier this month as the destination targets half a million UK visitors by 2030.

During the two-day event, which was held at Ashdown Park Hotel in West Sussex, 24 UK tour operators and agents met with representatives from Jamaica including hotels, resorts, attractions, and destination management companies to learn more about the destination.

Nine trade partners (below) were also awarded for their contribution to selling Jamaica at the Platinum Awards.

Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett said: “Jamaica Travel Market 2025 has been an outstanding success,”
“The level of engagement and enthusiasm from our UK partners has been exceptional. This event has solidified existing relationships and opened new avenues for collaboration that will drive continued growth in the UK market as we target 500 thousand visitors for 2030.”

Jamaica Tourist Board Director Donovan White added: “Jamaica Travel Market is more than just an event – it’s a testament to the strong partnership between Jamaica and the UK travel trade.
“The commitment shown by our partners demonstrates their confidence in Jamaica as a destination that delivers exceptional experiences for British travellers.”
