Travel Gossip, in partnership with Newmarket Holidays, launched The Travel Agent Awards to celebrate excellence among travel agents at a regional level. The awards debuted at two flagship events: the Geordie Ball on 5 March 2026 and the South West & Wales Ball in June 2026. More regional events are planned for 2027 and beyond.
Judged by a panel of respected travel industry experts, the awards spotlighted outstanding agents in their local markets, raising their visibility and recognising their achievements.
The black-tie galas brought together leading travel agents and suppliers for evenings of recognition, celebration and networking.
Backed by Travel Gossip’s community of 33,000 members, the events combined high energy with heartfelt moments and marked a new chapter in regional travel recognition.
