Windstar Cruises has christened its new all-suite motor yacht, Star Seeker, in Miami.
The 224-passenger ship is the line’s first new-build in its Star Class fleet. Sister ship Star Explorer will debut in December 2026.
The ship’s godmother is Libby Anschutz, daughter of Windstar owner Phil Anschutz.
After the christening, Star Seeker departed on an eight-night cruise to San Juan, Puerto Rico. It will continue to operate Caribbean cruises until the summer, when it will move to Alaska, before repositioning to Japan and Asia in the autumn.
The ship has 112 suites with private verandas and infinity windows, and two Owner’s Suites with wraparound balconies.
There are also five dining venues, including Basil + Bamboo, which combines Asian and Mediterranean cuisine, a spa with a two-deck entrance, and a marina with direct access to the water.
