Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours will offer four wine-themed river cruise itineraries in 2026.
As part of its new ‘A Taste of’ series, the trips will include experiences such as private vineyard tours, tastings hosted by experts and tailored excursions.
The four itineraries include an eight-day ‘Gems of the Danube’ cruise departing on 13 July. The cruise includes a visit to the Etyek wine region in Hungary and the Carpathian wine region in Slovakia, as well as visits to wineries in the Wachau Valley.
An eight-day ‘Rhine Highlights’ itinerary, departing on 12 August, visits winemaking villages in the French region of Alsace and includes a tasting in a local wine cellar, a guided tour and tasting at a family-owned vineyard, and a visit to the Koblenz Wine Museum.
In Bordeaux, there is an eight-day ‘Tastes of Bordeaux – A Wine Cruise’, departing on 29 June and 22 October, which includes a visit to a château in Saint-Émilion and an e-bike ride through the Médoc wine countryside.
For a longer cruise, there’s an 11-day ‘South of France’, itinerary. Departing on 2 August and 19 October, passengers will learn about the vineyards that produce Provence’s rosé, and they will also visit a local wine estate in Burgundy.
Head of Marketing for Rivers and Land Dominic Keely said: “Our new wine-themed journeys for 2026 celebrate Europe’s most storied vineyards with intimate tastings, expert-led encounters and immersive regional explorations. These distinctive river cruises blend ultra-luxury with authenticity, offering travellers a taste of some of the finest wine regions.”
