Ultra-luxury cruise line Regent Seven Seas is inviting customers to register for the first 13 cruises of new ship Prestige’s inaugural season, which will start in December 2026.
Prestige is the first of a new class of ship for Regent and will be followed by a second vessel in its class in 2029.
Prices start at £5,079 per passenger for a 10-night cruise in the eastern Caribbean in a deluxe veranda suite.
Pre-registration opened on Wednesday and the cruises will be bookable from 25 June.
“We are expecting a pretty huge response, based on what happened when we launched Grandeur,” said Senior Vice President International Steve Odell.
“Our plan is to launch these first 13 cruises, then in July we will open up another tranche, up until 2028.”
“There is a huge amount of pent-up demand,” added Vice President for UK & Ireland Sales Paul Beale.
The top suite on Prestige, the two-storey, 9,000 square feet Skyview Regent Suite, sleeps six. Dubbed as ‘the most luxurious all-inclusive suite at sea’, it costs from £20,000 a night.
Speaking at the unveiling of the Regent Suite in London on Wednesday, Steve said: “We are very confident that at that price point we will be successful. When we go on sale with any new season or any new product or destination, the top suites sell first to our top customers.
“We have to run a registration by loyalty numbers, so we don’t upset our loyal customers, they always have first dibs of what’s available.”
Paul added: “That’s part of the reason why on Prestige we have more upper suites – Distinctive Suites we call them – than we have ever had before.”
Prestige is 40% bigger than Regent’s Explorer Class ships, but the guest capacity has been increased by only 10%, giving more space per passenger.
Launching her maiden voyage on 13 December 2026, Prestige will depart from Barcelona on a 14-night Felices Fiestas transatlantic sailing to Miami, then it will spend the rest of the winter in the eastern and western Caribbean before returning to the Mediterranean for the final two cruises of its inaugural season, including a 12-night Regal Shores voyage from Southampton on 27 May 2027.
