Norwegian Cruise Line has put its ‘longest and largest’ new ship, Norwegian Aura, on sale.
The 3,840-passenger ship, which will be 10% larger than sister ships Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna, will debut in Europe in May 2027 before homeporting Miami from June 2027 to sail Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.
New features on Norwegian Aura include Ocean Heights, an open-air activity space with five waterslides, a ropes course, a rock climbing wall, and a mini-golf course. The ship will also have NCL’s first-overhanging cabanas, which will overlook the adults-only retreat, Vibe Beach Club.
The ship’s pool deck will be 20% larger than other Prima Class vessels, with more seating capacity, an additional infinity hot tub, a larger LED entertainment screen and extra lounge areas.
Regional Vice President and Head of the United Kingdom & Ireland Gary Anslow said: “We are proud to introduce the newest, and largest, addition to our fleet, Norwegian Aura.
“Norwegian Aura represents the evolution of Norwegian Cruise Line and the celebration of bringing together families, friends and travellers from around the world. With brilliance and connection at her core, the ship was created to give all guests the freedom to holiday their very own way – offering the chance to exhale, connect and effortlessly escape into the moment.
“We look forward to this next milestone and can’t wait for guests to experience all that Norwegian Aura has to offer.”
Norwegian Aura will sail a seven-day Mediterranean voyage from Trieste, Italy to Barcelona, Spain on 21 May 2027, followed by a 14-day transatlantic voyage to Miami on 28 May 2027.
