MSC Cruises has unveiled details of its family entertainment programme on board its new flagship, MSC World Asia, including an outdoor funfair and interactive game shows.
The ship will operate seven-night itineraries calling at Barcelona, Marseille, Messina, Civitavecchia for Rome, Naples and Valletta from December 2026.
The new programme will be the cruise line’s widest range of family entertainment to date, with a mix of interactive venues, outdoor attractions and dedicated spaces for children and teenagers. At the centre of the offering is the Family Aventura District, which will include The Clubhouse, The Harbour and the Doremiland kids’ club, alongside the Luna Park Arena.
Luna Park Arena will host a series of interactive game shows, including Code Breakers, Labyrinth and Chart Toppers, using digital technology to create immersive experiences for guests.
The Clubhouse will act as a hub for family activities, featuring bumper cars, roller skating, a LEGO family zone and a junior version of MasterChef, alongside a programme of games and sports. The Harbour will offer outdoor attractions including a rope adventure trail, waterslides and an over-water swing, as well as a playground area called The Play Deck.
MSC Cruises Vice President of Entertainment Steve Leatham said: “On board MSC World Asia, family entertainment will reach new heights – bigger, bolder and more innovative than ever.”
MSC World Asia will also feature dedicated teen entertainment, including events and activities led by an AI avatar, as well as teen-only sessions in selected venues.
Doremiland, located on deck 19, will span more than 1,000 square metres and include areas for different age groups, from a baby club to spaces for juniors and teenagers, as well as gaming and arcade experiences.
Family Entertainment Development Director Matteo Mancini added: “On MSC World Asia, every experience has been designed to surprise, inspire and spark imagination.”
