Marella Cruises has launched its summer 2027 programme with new ports of call in Albania and Italy.
Marella Discovery 2‘s ‘Ionian Shores’ cruise will feature a first-time stop in Sarandë, Albania and Syracuse, Italy. The cruise line last sailed in Albania more than five years ago on Marella Celebration.
Starting on 6 May 2027, the ship, which will be adults-only for the season, will homeport in Dubrovnik and sail various itineraries around the Aegean, Mediterranean and Adriatic.
From 12 May 2027, Marella Explorer 2, will be homeporting in Malaga, Spain, for the first time in nearly a decade, with itineraries including ‘Spirit of Spain’, which features a return to Mahon in Menorca and the ‘Spanish Sights’ itinerary, revisiting Castellon in Spain.
Marella Discovery and Marella Voyager will both homeport out of Palma, Majorca for the season and Marella Explorer will sail from Corfu.
The cruise line has also extended its cruise and stay offering with 29 new hotels in Majorca, Croatia, Corfu and Spain to add to the 121 hotels available.

All summer 2027 sailings go on sale from 16 October 2025.
