Holland America Line will feature in a new Channel 4 behind-the-scenes documentary, Supercruising: Life at Sea.
The line will appear in the eight-part series, with the first episode airing at 8pm on 3 July.
Each hour-long episode will take a look at life onboard its Pinnacle-class ships Rotterdam and Nieuw Statendam over three voyages, sailing to destinations including the Panama Canal, the Caribbean, South America, Canary Islands and North Africa.
Episode one introduces some of the crew, including Rotterdam’s Captain Eric Barhorst as he oversees operations on a cruise to the Caribbean and Panama Canal, and Executive Chef Jundiel Marcelo and his culinary team of 200, as they prepare to sail on Nieuw Statendam from Dover.
UK Director of Sales and Marketing Karen Farndell said: “We can’t wait for the series to air next week and showcase everything that makes Holland America an unforgettable experience. All the highlights of travelling with us, both on and off ours ships, are perfectly brought to life.
“And the show will ideally equip agents to inspire their customers and confidently sell our cruises. As we mark our first season sailing from Dover in a decade, there’s no better time to engage with us and turn that connection into bookings.”
