Cunard has seen a significant uplift in bookings following the launch of its 2027 summer programme, with a ‘notable surge’ in demand for its luxury suites.
It said there has been a 55% increase in nights booked during the first seven days of its programme launch compared to the equivalent period for the 2026 launch.
UK bookings are up almost 50% while demand for its luxury Queens Grill and Princess Grill suites has more than doubled 100% compared to the same period last year.
A spokesperson said trade bookings for European cruises and Queen Mary 2’s transatlantic crossings were particularly strong.
Cunard’s summer 2027 programme features 195 new itineraries across its fleet, visiting 115 destinations in 32 countries between April 2027 and January 2028.
In the new programme, three of Cunard’s Queens offer round-trip sailings from the UK for the first time since 2018, increasing departures from Southampton by 54% year-on-year.
Meanwhile, Cunard has confirmed that Le Gavroche at Seawith chef Michel Roux will return for a third season in 2026 following a sell-out season this year.
The iconic restaurateur and two Michelin-starred chef will host four exclusive dining experiences on Queen Anne in 2026 – with three residencies taking place on seven-night Norwegian Fjords voyages in May, August and November, and a further Le Gavroche at Sea scheduled for an Iceland and British Isles sailing in July.
Each residency features a five-course tasting menu served in Sir Samuels. Guest numbers are limited to 50 diners per evening.
Michel will also give live cooking demos in the Royal Court Theatre and he will appear as an Insight Speaker.
