Crystal has unveiled plans for a refurbishment of Crystal Serenity, which will include a refit of the Aquamarine Classic Suites and updating some public spaces.
The ship will go into drydock for three weeks in October for a complete refresh of the deck 10 Aquamarine Classic Suites’ living areas and bathrooms. The corridors on deck 10 will also get new carpet and wallpaper.
The refurbishment of the public areas includes a new pool bar on deck 12 and the reception area will be given a refresh. Waiter stations are being renovated at the Waterside Restaurant and chairs will be reupholstered, while the Stardust Club will receive new tables and chandeliers. New furniture is being introduced in the Seahorse Pool area and the Marketplace breakfast and lunch venue will receive newly renovated chairs throughout.
New sound and entertainment systems will be installed in the ship’s main public areas.
Crystal Serenity is expected to resume service on 8 November on a 15-day transatlantic voyage from Lisbon to Fort Lauderdale where the ship will the begin its Caribbean season.
