River cruise operator CroisiEurope has launched a new wine-themed cruise along the Saône and Rhône rivers.
The seven-night cruise is available from October 2026 and will be a round-trip sailing from Lyon onboard MS Rhône Princess.
It will call at Macon, Vienne, Avignon, Arles, The Camargue and Tournon.
Key highlights of the itinerary include visits to the Papal Palace in Avignon, the ancient city of Arles to follow in the footsteps of Van Gogh, and the medieval village of Viviers, which is home to France’s smallest cathedral.
