Celebrity Cruises has announced details of more new venues on Celebrity Xcel, its newest ship, which will debut in Florida in November.
In total, Celebrity Xcel will have seven new venues, four of which have been revealed this week.
One is the CelebrityPool Club, which includes a new pool valet offering chilled towels, card games, sunscreen and storage for personal items.
The club includes a new rooftop design providing more shade, but guests also have the option to book private, serviced cabanas.
On the last sea day of every cruise, the CelebrityPool Club will have Caribbean-inspired live music and a DJ, pop-up shows and pool games. There will also be a new ‘Shine the Night’ poolside party.
Celebrity Xcel will also have a 24/7, neon-lit, adult-oriented games room, Attic at The Club with retro games such as Pac-Man, NBA Showtime and Golden Tee, plus pool, darts, foosball and shuffleboard.
Guests will be able to book a private event space for various group activities, including karaoke and golf simulation games.
The Spa on Celebrity Xcel will feature Celebrity’s first-ever Hydra Room, the newest of eight therapeutic experiences in the Thermal Suite, with a warm pool with massaging jets and heated lounge chairs. There will also be an outdoor Vitamin D spa deck, exclusive to Thermal Suite guests.
Xcel will also have Celebrity’s first flagship store, which doubles as an interactive Celebrity exhibition, with interactive screens and trivia quizzes, plus vintage collectables.
Guests can take part in finalising the new spaces by joining Xcel ‘Dream Makers’, a global community of holidayers who test, try and vote on new experiences they would like to see onboard the ship.
From November, Celebrity Xcel will sail from Fort Lauderdale, offering seven-night itineraries alternating between The Bahamas, Mexico, Cayman Islands, Puerto Plata, St. Thomas and St. Maarten.
In summer 2026, it will sail in the Mediterranean.
