Carnival Cruise Line has opened its new destination in Grand Bahama, Celebration Key.
Carnival Vista made its first call at the port over the weekend, with nearly 5,000 guests able to experience the resort.
Carnival’s Celebration Key features five areas for guests.
Paradise Plaza welcomes visitors with live music, while Starfish Lagoon is a family-friendly area with a freshwater lagoon and Suncastle waterslide that winds through 350 feet of turns and drops.
For adults, Calypso Lagoon features DJ Island, where there is music and a swim-up bar with 166 in-water seats. Pearl Cove Beach Club also offers an adults-only retreat with an infinity pool, upscale dining, cabanas, and a private beach.
Lokono Cove is the retail village, showcasing Bahamian culture through local art and handmade goods.
Carnival says Celebration Key will bring more than two million guests a year to Grand Bahama, and by 2028, this number is expected to grow to four million.
