Atlas Ocean Voyages has launched seven new pre-cruise land experiences for its spring 2029 Kenya and South Africa collection aboard ship Atlas Adventurer.
In Kenya, Atlas has exclusively partnered with Abercrombie & Kent on the A&K Sanctuary, an eight-day journey spanning three private reserves. Two further safaris are also available, including a four-day introduction to Amboseli and Tsavo East. All depart from Nairobi and connect to voyages in Mombasa.
Meanwhile, four South Africa excursions, three departing from Johannesburg and one from Cape Town, cover the Cape Winelands vineyard, Greater Kruger’s private reserves and the Okavango Delta and Chobe wilds, with one extending to Victoria Falls.
Atlas President and Chief Executive Officer James A. Rodriguez said: “An expedition doesn’t have to begin upon arrival at the yacht. These new safari experiences give our guests the chance to enhance their journey with a truly immersive land excursion encountering Africa’s extraordinary wildlife and landscapes, before they ever set foot aboard Atlas Adventurer.”
