AmaWaterways has added a new optional land package in Alexandria to complement its Secrets of Egypt & the Nile itinerary.
The three-night post-cruise package includes two nights in Alexandria and one night in Cairo. Guests will stay at the Four Seasons Hotel in Alexandria and explore sites like the Citadel of Qaitbay, a 15th-century fortress, and Wadi El Natrun, one of Egypt’s most sacred Coptic pilgrimage destinations. The package also includes a one night at Le Méridien Cairo Airport Hotel.
The Secrets of Egypt & the Nile programme includes a seven-night round-trip river cruise from Luxor aboard either AmaLilia or AmaDahlia, plus a four-night Cairo stay, comprised of three nights before the cruise and one night after.
The optional Alexandria land extension can be added to sailings from September 2025 to June 2026.
